ORLANDO, Fla. – Simply announced that it has acquired a self storage portfolio from EZ Storage consisting of 48 properties in 6 states.  The portfolio consisted of 3.7 million rentable square feet and 30,800 units in Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Texas, and Rhode Island. 

 In addition, they acquired a new facility in Michigan Friday, November 03, 2006.  The facility consisted of nearly 26,000 rentable square feet and 316 units in St. Clair Shores.
